It is with great pleasure that we announce the final match in our event season, the 2016 Sumbal Cup, to be held at historic Rupertswood Cricket Club in Sunbury on Labour Day, 14th March 2016.
This is the second Sumbal Cup to be played at Rupertswood. After the success of last year’s match we were extremely keen to lock in the event as a yearly fixture.
Once again a Sumbal XI will take on a Rupertswood combined XI, with Rupertswood looking to avenge last year’s nail biting loss.
Aside from some great cricket, the family-friendly day will feature a BBQ, DJ’s, charity auctions and some fantastic prizes. All of the proceeds will directly aid the families of killed and wounded policeman in Pakistan.
We are looking forward to instilling this tradition at Rupertswood and continuing the Fayyaz Sumbal legacy.

We will announce more details as they come to hand. We’d like to thank you for your continued support over what has been a most successful season. We have seen matches in Lahore, Perth & Hobart, and we are sure that our final event of the season will be just as epic.
